Welcome to CISL!

The Connecticut Interscholastic Ski League (CISL) is a high school ski racing league that is made up of girl's and boy's teams from public and private high schools throughout Connecticut.  We continue to grow and are now the largest high school ski racing league in Connecticut.

Welcome to the 2020-2021 season.

Great opportunity for our racers

After some forced delays we are happy to announce that our season begins tonight.  Thank you to everyone for your support as we navigated through these unique times.  We understand that there are questions about spectators and we are following the guidance of the CIAC and Mt Southington, at this time, spectators are not permitted to attend races.  We will continue to monitor this situation and make adjustments if the guidance allows.  The current language from the CIAC is below.

The CIAC position on fan/spectator attendance is that fans should not be allowed at interscholastic contests or practices.

We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding as we planned the start of they 2021 season.  Wednesday, February 10th our season begins with our class L teams racing in three time slots.  The CISL is committed to a safe and successful ski racing season.  We will follow all Covid-19 protocols issues by Mt. Southington, the CIAC and and DPH to help ensure this.  Also, we will be changing our race night format to limit the number of racers on the hill at the same time.  Each race will be split into three smaller races that will begin at 4, 5 and 6 and Wednesdays will be for class L, Thursdays for class S.    Teams will be assigned to a time slot that will rotate as the season goes on.  Every race, all teams schedule for that night will race against each other.

Additionally have learned that our participation the Eastern States Ski Championships "Team Connecticut" will not happen this year to to Covid protocols across New England.

Be well and stay safe
